Gentle solutions for minor flaws

Our skin rejuvenation treatments can improve discoloration, fine lines, and acne scars while providing clarity and smoothness. (More serious skin conditions such as deeper wrinkles and creases, birthmarks, brown age spots, and severe acne scars require chemical peels or laser treatments.)

Our rejuvenation treatments are targeted at the surface layers of skin. These treatments are suitable for all skin types, and recovery time is minimal. Options include:

BioMedic MicroPeel®

This alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) treatment uses a unique, three-part system to improve skin clarity and tone. Step 1 involves exfoliating your skin, lessening the appearance of fine lines and brown spots. In Step 2, a 15-30% alphahydroxy acid solution is applied to clear your pores. In Step 3, carbon dioxide cools your skin, making pores look smaller and opening blackheads. The entire procedure takes 15 to 20 minutes, and results are visible immediately. BioMedic MicroPeel Plus®

We also offer a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) treatment to reduce the appearance of fine lines, skin discolorations, acne scars and environmental damage. The procedure renews your skin by sloughing off dead cells and stimulating growth in the new, living cells. After cleaning your skin, we apply the solution. You may feel some stinging and burning, which will peak after two to three minutes, then quickly diminish before we wash away the product. The procedure takes about 15 minutes and can be done in-office. Peeling becomes visible two to four days after treatment and lasts about three days.
Your first treatment will substantially transform your skin by softening fine lines and discolorations, fading dark spots and diminishing enlarged pores and acne scarring. Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion uses a stream of gently abrasive crystals to reveal smoother skin and reduce conditions such as sun damage, age spots, superficial pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, blackheads and whiteheads, and acne scars. By combining the crystals and mild suction, we can remove the dead outer layer of skin with minimal discomfort. The procedure works equally well on all skin colors. Each treatment takes about 30 minutes, after which you can return immediately to your daily activities. Five to ten treatments are usually required for best results.
